Last updated: July 26, 2026
Effective: July 31, 2026

1. Acceptance

By accessing Chinglish Book, creating an account, or using Learn features, you agree to these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use account-based services.

2. Operator

Chinglish Book is an independently operated educational website based in the United States. The brand is not presented as a registered company or corporation.

3. Eligibility

Users must be at least 13 years old. Users under 13 may not register or use account-based services. A minor who is old enough to use the service should obtain permission from a parent or guardian where applicable law requires it.

4. Educational Purpose

ChinglishBook is intended for language learning, research, and experimentation. It does not represent an official English standard and does not provide professional language, educational, or legal advice.

5. No Guarantee of Accuracy

Content may contain errors, omissions, or interpretations that change as the project develops. Users should not rely on the website as the sole authority for academic, legal, professional, or high-stakes language decisions. Chinglish Book does not guarantee that all content is complete or error-free.

6. Accounts

Users must provide accurate account information, protect their credentials, not share or misuse accounts, and notify Chinglish Book of suspected unauthorized access. Chinglish Book may suspend or terminate an account because of abuse, a security risk, attempted unauthorized access, automated attacks, or violations of these Terms.

7. Acceptable Use

Users may not attempt unauthorized access, use scraping that disrupts the service, run malicious automation, send spam or malware, perform security testing without permission, impersonate another person, harass others, use the service illegally, or circumvent access controls. This restriction does not prohibit ordinary search-engine crawling that follows applicable technical directives or reasonable academic citation.

8. Intellectual Property

Original ChinglishBook content, organization, explanations, learning materials, and branding are protected to the extent allowed by law. Personal learning, limited quotation, and noncommercial citation are permitted with clear attribution and a link where reasonably possible.

Commercial copying, bulk republication, selling copied datasets or courses, and misrepresenting the content as another person’s work are not permitted without prior written permission. Permission requests may be sent to chinglishbook@outlook.com.

9. Third-Party Services and Links

The website may rely on or link to third-party services. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy practices, and Chinglish Book does not control all of their actions, availability, or content.

10. Availability and Changes

Features may change, content may be corrected, and service may be interrupted. Courses or accounts may be temporarily unavailable or suspended for maintenance, abuse prevention, or security. No provision in these Terms promises that any page or feature will remain unchanged forever.

11. No Warranties

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the website is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties that it will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, accurate, or suitable for a particular purpose. These Terms do not exclude consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Chinglish Book will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of the website. This limitation does not apply where liability cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.

13. Responsibility for Unlawful Use

Users agree to be responsible for losses resulting from their intentional unlawful use, security attacks, or material violations of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.

14. Suspension and Termination

Chinglish Book may suspend or terminate accounts involved in violations, abuse, or security risks. A user may request deletion of an account and associated learning data by contacting chinglishbook@outlook.com, subject to reasonable identity verification and any legally required retention.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer law requires otherwise.

16. Venue

To the extent permitted by applicable law, disputes relating to these Terms or the website will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California. Mandatory consumer protections and rights that cannot be waived remain unaffected.

17. Changes to Terms

These Terms show their Last Updated and Effective dates above. Material changes may be announced on the website or through an appropriate account notice. Continued use after revised Terms become effective may constitute acceptance where permitted by law.
